My childhood years were in<BR/>the 1940s and 1950s in Wisconsin,<BR/>Fond du Lac, in a solidly Roman<BR/>Catholic working class family. <BR/>Since then, many conflicting<BR/>personal and public worlds; but<BR/>two days ago--after more or less<BR/>five years (for various reasons)<BR/>of not participating in my Faith--<BR/>a parish priest I had had phone<BR/>conversations with/ visited me.<BR/>We talked. He helped me through<BR/>my confession.
